This is my Blogary. As a wee one, I sporadically wrote in diaries. Now, even though I'm still a wee one (in my mind), there is the Internets, and so was born my blogary. It started with www.prncessmik.blogspot.com, but then, one fateful day in 2007, I discovered tumblr. The rest, my friends, is history.

I am a Family Law/Matrimonial Attorney, living in NYC. I am infamous (in my own world) for my impersonations. Those include, but are not limited to, Marge Simpson & Marisa Tomei's character in My Cousin Vinny.
My passion for animals is a big part of what defines me. So is my passion for handbags and shoes.
Most of the things that I enjoy are bad for me.
I am fun and usually very nice.

This used to be (and one day will again be) my credo. Lately, I find myself not holding the elevator door for people (usually when I’m about to be late for work) simply because (although I always used to) lately, many people have been blatantly not holding it for me. So, I put aside the real me, the person who tries to be a good person, because many people weren’t holding up “their end of the bargain.”

This image just made me realize that it doesn’t matter how other people treat you. You should still treat them the way that you want to be treated. It is not a quid pro quo. Being a good person for the sake of being a good person is reason enough to continue on that road.
